We welcome these new members to Gordon Middle School's Faculty and Staff:
Miss Kimmarie Doskis enjoys the diverse population at Gordon. She is here to teach 7th Grade learning support. Her hobbies are reading and volleyball. She previously taught in Philadelphia for four years. Miss Doskis graduated from Temple University. – Emily Christie and Erika Faust
Mr. Wayne Wallace teaches health to 7th and 8th graders. He feels the teachers are committed to teaching the students, and he likes the environment that creates. His hobbies are doing things with his family and transporting his kids to activities. Mr. Wallace graduated from West Chester University. He taught in Philadelphia prior to coming to Gordon. He is looking forward to teaching all aspects of human growth and development. – Evelyn Colon and Anastasia Chism
Miss Nina Lombardi teaches the 6th grade learning support class. She feels the students here are kind and the staff is friendly and supportive. Her hobbies are reading, traveling, and going to the beach. She graduated from West Chester University and previously worked at Upper Merion School District. She looks forward to starting the Wilson Reading Program and introducing novels to her students. – Shandel Cooper
Mr. Jason Noll likes the staff at Gordon. He teaches music and his hobby is music. He graduated from West Chester University and spent a year teaching in Wilmington, Delaware. Mr. Noll looks forward to teaching chorus. – Emily Christie and Dara Cooper
Mr. Ed Souders teaches 7th and 8th grade science. Mr. Sounders feels very proud to be teaching at a school where he attended. He graduated from Millersville University and taught in a private school before coming to Gordon. He enjoys hunting, fishing and woodworking. He looks forward to teaching physical science and life science. – Amanda Darlington
Miss Audra Altimore teaches 8th grade learning support at Gordon. She likes the fact that the students are energetic and polite. Ms. Altimore graduated from West Chester University and previously taught in a private school for special education students with challenging behaviors. She likes to cook, collects musical records and enjoys physical activity. She likes to teach reading. – Shandel Cooper and Erika Faust
Mr. John Ritter teaches 8th grade social studies. His hobbies are karate, building models and target range. Before he came to Gordon he worked as a substitute teacher for Mr. Assetto. He taught troubleshooting in the Air Force and he taught communications. Mr. Ritter looks forward to teaching the Revolutionary War. "It lays the foundation of our current society," he reports. Mr. Ritter is a graduate of West Chester University. – Dee Crudden
